Spent time on the dole, aged 20, after my mother died and left me her house, ending my travels, then somehow found a future working in the developing Computer industry in Liverpool.
Several years later took another “gap yar”  to escape on a round the world ticket, aged 30.
Got married in a Lake Tahoe motel room, Nevada because it was too cold to continue camping and seemed like a good idea at the time.
Worked in Queenstown, New Zealand and played rugby for a Samoan team in Auckland. 
Ran out of money in Kathmandu, Nepal, and experienced real life while travelling for days on buses and Indian trains to Delhi before heading home to the UK.  Penniless, bounced a cheque to get home on the National Express bus from London.
Later migrated south to the English Sussex coast where the sun shines more, where grapes grow and the sea is actually blue.
Divorced and raised a daughter as a single dad whilst working in Engineering for Richard Branson's glossy long haul airline and away we go global travelling , flying in a flat bed under a duvet.
beFriended a pro photographer on a trip to Cuba who taught me all I know with my first DSLR and have been chasing the light ever since.
If you find the right job, you never have to work again.

Much of life is spent on the South Downs National Park at home with my best companion Saffie. a GSP, German Short-Haired Pointer. A dog is the key to Great Outdoors.
